Position Summary: Looking to hire for Multiple Positions. All Pay will be determined on experince and knowledge. 

                                      - Pipe Crew

                                      - Asphalt Crew

                                      - Concrete Crew

*Responsibilities:*

• Manage pave crew to perform work at optimal level that meets or exceeds surface standards, leading lute men, equipment operators (rollers, screw men)

• Must be able to set up site to prepave conditions

• Understands asphalt tolerances and tonages

• Able to measure tolerances on the fly, and understand quality control measures to insure a quality product while on the job

• Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety, first in everything we do.

• Must be able to identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment

• Maintain good health status and flexibility to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twist

• Able to climb ladders maintaining a 3 point contact

• Maintain a flexible work schedule to include day/night shift work with extended hours when necessary

• Able to understand and follow verbal instructions

• Assist with layout of project and marking of roadway structures

• Establish and maintain positive relationship with all Team Members and Supervisor

• Help to maintain a clean and orderly job site

• Be sure assigned equipment is properly maintained and kept clean at all times

• Assist in daily project inspection prior to departing, to ensure work is complete with the highest quality and all cleanup is complete

• Minimum of 3 years of paving operator experience

• Be able to effectively communicate, verbally and/or in writing, at all times with all individuals.

• Have Reliable transportation.

• Criminal records will be evaluated on a per case basis.

• Previous experience working on construction projects desired. Workers are encouraged to ask about jobs, learn about the work being done and seek opportunities to receive on-the-job training.

Jobsite Conditions

Repetitive, physical work. Regularly exposed to dusty conditions, extreme temperatures, high noise level, airborne particles, ambient weather conditions, hazardous machinery, precarious places. To avoid injury, safety clothing is required along with safety devices to protect eyes, head, or hearing.
