Imprimis Group, Inc. has partnered with a software and technology services company in Dallas, TX that is hiring a Corporate Accountant. The corporate accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial information to management for decision-making purposes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support external audits and tax filings by providing accurate and timely financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic decisions.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Stay updated on accounting best practices, regulatory changes, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred, not required.
• Proven experience working as a corporate accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Sage Intaact experience required.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, MS Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed recommendations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
