Public Accounting Internship

What will my internship look like?

Our interns will hit the ground running during the 2025 tax season January-April. You will be immersed in a full-service CPA firm, surrounded by experienced accounting professionals who can provide 1:1 training and mentorship. The position will include a blend of tax preparation and accounting duties including preparation of 1099s and individual (1040) and business tax returns.

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

• Pursuing a degree in accounting at a technical school, college, or university.
• Interested in pursuing a career in public accounting.
• Comfortable working daily in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with the team and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What will my schedule look like?

Ideally, interns can join us full-time to get the most experience possible from their internship, but we can work with you to determine a schedule that fits your school commitments. We prefer interns to join us during tax season January-April. We are open to discussing summer internships with candidates who can work onsite at one of our office locations and have already completed accounting courses and/or a related internship to provide them with the accounting knowledge and foundation for their time with us.
