Civil Litigation Attorney Senior Counsel

Krogh & Decker, LLP, is seeking a Senior Civil Litigation Attorney with ten years of trial experience for its downtown Sacramento office. The ideal candidate will manage civil litigation matters for a wide range of business clients and high-net-worth individuals. The cases will include breach of contract, employment defense, partnership/shareholder disputes, real property issues, trade secret litigation, and construction disputes.

The perfect candidate should be able to manage a caseload independently, possess excellent communication skills with clients, and have a desire to work collaboratively in a team environment. This is an outstanding opportunity, and the firm will provide the necessary resources to ensure the position's success.

Be prepared to discuss:

• Experience with MSJs and oppositions
• Discovery requests, responses, and motions
• Mediation and settlement conferences
• Litigation style
• Client communication style

Hourly requirements: The firm maintains an 1800-hour yearly requirement. Hours are measured before billing reductions. Of this amount, 200 hours may be attributed to business development.

Additional Compensation: K&D offers both an origination and efficiency bonus per quarter. The origination bonus provides that the successful candidate will receive 15% of attorneys’ fees paid for any clients the attorney retains. Both the origination bonus and efficiency bonus are paid quarterly.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
