We are a purpose-driven professional services firm dedicated to providing support for a range of diverse federal program missions. Our focus extends across the intersections of national security, public health and safety, and financial services programs. We are hiring a web developer with expertise in Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2019/Online, Power Platform, Office 365 and SQL server. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within the federal sector and possess an active secret security clearance.

The successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to the requirements analysis, system design, development, deployment, and ongoing operational sustainment. The primary objective is to optimize solutions that not only enhance operational capabilities but also modernize systems, ultimately improving efficiency within an enterprise environment (for US Coast Guard FORCECOM).

Requirements:

The right candidate will,

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Migrate multiple legacy applications to an enterprise Power platform using Microsoft SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and Power Platform.
  • Design, develop, and customize Power Apps to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, and custom solutions to support Power Apps.
  • Maintain a collection of customer SharePoint web sites, libraries, imbedded forms, and database connections, including test, development, staging and publication as well as web services and web authoring / managing software.
  • Provide SharePoint Online Integration by integrating Power Apps seamlessly with SharePoint Online to leverage data and document management capabilities.
  • Conducting thorough testing of Power Apps and SharePoint Online solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
  • Configure new and existing sites and pages to ensure compliance with Section 508 / WCAG 2.0 requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day support services to maintain customer internet / intranet web and SharePoint services including creating and maintaining web-enabled databases and sites.
  • Provide customer with weekly/monthly updates and reports on any on-going maintenance work and projects.
  • Track and document all problems along with providing recommendations and resolution methods and submit weekly reports to the customer program manager.
  • Provide content navigation assessment, link analysis and comprehensive SharePoint and web site traffic and performance analysis via a browser- based reporting when requested by the customer program manager.
  • Assist customer personnel with updating and publishing products and services on customer sites including both static and dynamic pages.
  • Test and evaluate web authoring software packages and provide findings and recommendations to the customer program manager.
  • Assist in the administration of various SharePoint sites, maintaining and updating existing sites, setting up new sites, user groups, site permissions and access.
  • Recommend to the customer program manager, solutions to enhance various administrative functions in an office environment. Examples of enhancements are interactive calendars, online discussion groups, bulletin boards, phone directories, study and testing applications, and supply/procurement and work-order request management systems.
  • Assist customer personnel with the usage of Microsoft Power Platform tools (PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years design and development experience using Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2019/Online and Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, Dataverse), SQL server.
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint designer, InfoPath, REST API, CSS, and HTML.
  • Excellent communications (both written and spoken) including customer support.
  • Active secret security clearance (must have).
  • Experience working for US Coast Guard a plus.
