Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Lead SQL Developer for their Annapolis, MD based client. In this role, you will work with a team of developers on new release cycles and maintenance of existing code for internal custom applications.
Responsibilities:
• Perform performance management, including running diagnostics, optimizing queries, other performance tuning, and ensuring proper backups
• Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct other programmers to make changes
• Test programs or databases, troubleshoot issues, correct errors, and make necessary modifications
• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard data against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure
• Develop standards/best practices to guide the use and acquisition of software to protect vulnerable information
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of recent experience / daily use with MS SQL Developer
• Experience with SSRS
• Strong MS SQL development (minimum 2012) experience with ability to design complex stored procedures and functions
• Expertise and knowledge of best practices with MS SQL Server and SQL development
• Strong understanding of relational database design
• Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Cards
