Job Description:

As a Sr. Principal Hardware Architect, you will drive our MLSoC™ architecture definition which includes but not limited to IP selection, performance and power considerations and possibly architectural modeling. In this role you will initiate the technical deep-dive, significant technical data gathering and analysis, design trade-off discussions and drive closure amongst the technical stakeholders.

This role is also responsible for key technology innovations/scaling especially memory map, interrupt handling and other architectural definitions. As an architect, there needs to be an interface with HW design, verification, and backend teams as well as with the SW, customer facing teams. The role also entails exploring approaches aligned with newer technologies, competitive performance considerations and system constraints.

Requirements:

MS or PhD in computer or electrical engineering
10+ years in defining and leading SoC architecture and working with cross-functional teams.
Experience with computer vision, CPUs, system interconnect and peripherals
Familiarity with all aspects of ASIC design
Experience with computer vision, video encoding/decoding
Familiarity with Arm Processors, GIC, SMMU, Arteris NOC
Experience with PCIe, Ethernet, USB, MIPI protocols
Experience with Automotive products is desired.
Familiarity with design, verification, and backend
Highly desirable:
co-authored internal technical presentations, research papers and disclosures/patents on key technical topics
Noteworthy technical contributions, which were multi-disciplinary and in collaboration with other cross-functional teams.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $240,000 - $305,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, qualifications, expertise, work location, total target compensation, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
