Where we need you
- Team Leader Tooling Engineering leads the Tooling Engineering Department and is responsible for all tooling activities and performances of this Department (region NA).
- Supports the definition of Regional Strategy adapting the Tooling Engineering organization accordingly.
- Responsible for the professional growth of the Tooling Engineers supporting them to overcome obstacles, resolving escalations, providing mission, necessary tools and training.
- Responsible to support the product development evaluating tooling feasibility in a timely fashion of the design. Makes proposals with the target to keep the tools as simple and robust as possible.
- Responsible all regional request for quotation to secure tooling quotes
- Ensures compliance for Tooling tasks to Automotive Management of Projects phases (Advanced Development, RFQ, Serial Development) and acts proactively according to procedures and guidelines.
- Monitors closely the progress of the all regional tool builds at the tool-makers, performs constructions reviews and supervises try-outs according to the procedures and the "project manual tools"
How to convince us
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in tool-management and supervision of tooling
- Knowledge and experience in mold flow simulation software
- SAP experience
- Knowledge of injection molding and/or compression molding tools
- Experience working with multiple functions/departments
