Our client is a well established large scale commercial landscape contractor seeking an Assistant Estimator. In this role, you will assist the Estimator by setting up job files, gathering scope of work plan specifications and related documents to get a complete understanding of the project. Also assist in reviewing scope of work, plan specifications for project, identify material and sub requirements, prepare accurate takeoffs, acquire proposals from subs. This is a growth opportunity and can lead into becoming an Estimator.
- Experience in completion of estimates, bidding commercial work
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and adapt to constantly changing environment
- Proficient in MS Office, Adobe PDF, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Large Format Plotting of construction plans
- Deadline driven
- Time management, troubleshooting under pressure,
