Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Process/Operations Engineer based in Houston, TX, but can travel to work in our Broussard, LA site. The primary purpose of this role is to get familiar with our renewable technology and contribute as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operational oversight during unit testing and evaluation.
• Oversight of maintenance and corrective actions.
• Data compilation, evaluation.
• Report writing, permitting, cost estimating support.
• Site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or related Engineering degree.  
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Dependable with a high level of moral character.
• Previous experience with some of the following:
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals, such as how pressure, temperature, volume, etc, are related.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • CAD design of equipment
  • R&D
  • PLC/logic controls 

Other Relevant Information:

• This position will begin by working out of our Broussard, LA site. We expect to open a Houston, TX location in a year, at that point, this role will be in Houston, TX.
• We will cover all traveling expenses: gas, food, lodging etc.
