Maintenance Mechanic

MCHA Communities, LLC (formerly known as Midland City Housing Authority) is seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Mechanic at its apartment complex.

Basic Function: Responsible for maintenance and repair tasks and installations on Authority buildings and apartments.

Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate with a minimum of two years experience in building maintenance, construction work or related field. Must be able to perform a variety of mechanical and building trade categories to include; electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, painting, heating, air conditioning, and grounds equipment operation and repair. Interested candidates must be bondable, have and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record for the last three (3) years. Successful candidate will be required to submit to criminal background screen, drug and alcohol screens, and physical. On call duties will be required and must be available for emergencies.
