Job Description

A non-profit, no-kill cat sanctuary in Newport Beach is looking for an experienced Maintenance/Custodian to assist with janitorial and maintenance duties. The ideal candidate will be a patient, detail-oriented, and a dedicated team player that adores animals.

ENTRY LEVEL, PART-TIME

TUESDAY - SATURDAY Work Week (closed Sun/Mon)

Two Days Per Week (days flexible) - 12:00pm - 4:00pm

$16.00 Per Hour

***May Consider Independent Contractors***

Duties:

Empty and clean waste receptacles
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
Assist in moving and arranging cat furniture and equipment as needed
Disinfect and sanitize rooms and common areas
Stock and refill bathroom dispensers with paper, sanitary, and soap products
Select proper cleaning materials and supplies in order to complete daily tasks
Maintain parking lot area and exterior windows
Wash and fold laundry and cat beds
Special tasks as requested

We are a non-profit organization that provides shelter for owner-relinquished cats and kittens as they await adoption to loving, caring homes. We also provide a retirement center for older cats to live out the rest of their lives in a beautiful surrounding where they receive lots of care and affection from our staff and volunteers.
