Job Summary
The IAQ Marketing Manager plays an integral role in building, maintaining and growing customer and vendor relationships, identifying new business, and providing internal recommendations on products.
As the IAQ Marketing Manager, you will be representing a trusted HVAC and Refrigeration industry wholesaler by providing marketing expertise and sales support to customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Marketing Management – Work with vendors, customers and internal stakeholders on a daily basis to develop and support marketing and advertising programs for CPE and our customers
- Sales Support – Assist sales team in growing Crescent’s existing customers, identifying new business, and growing product lines.
- Internal Support – Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide recommendations on stocking, training, and pricing of products
Duties & Responsibilities
· Marketing Management
o Develop and maintain strong working relationship with vendors, and become day to day contact for Bosch, Aerus, Aprilaire, Nu-Calgon, Nidec and other vendors as assigned
o Promote and support vendor programs internally and with customers
o Work with vendors and internal marketing specialist to develop a strategy on how to spend and maximize the use of vendor advertising and co-op funds
o Work with internal accounting team to coordinate and track vendor reimbursement
o Create a marketing plan for products annually, which will include sales goals, budgets, targeted customers, dealer advertising, training and more
o Help provide product content for CPE online tools
· Sales Support
o Develop programs to help internal sales team grow existing dealers
o Coordinate with internal sales team to grow product lines, meet their needs
o Analyze market penetration and develop new dealers appropriately
o Assist internal branch personnel in product knowledge, including add-on/optional products and cross references
o Coordinate with internal team to plan dealer meetings
o Develop and maintain strong working relationship with dealers and customers
o Develop strategies to assist customers in growing their business
o Ensure dealers are taking full advantage of vendor designed programs
o Assist customers in capitalizing on vendor co-op funds
· Internal Support
o Work closely with internal purchasing group to make recommendations for stocking and pricing products
o Assist the Service & Support Group to identify and coordinate internal and external training needs
· Other tasks as assigned
Experience & Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing
· Ability to conduct both in person and virtual meetings/trainings
· Basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
· HVACR, or other relevant professional/technical, experience preferred
· Ability to work with customers, vendors and other employees in a courteous, professional manner
· Ambitious, self-directing, and proactive
· Ability to work on your own or as a team, and lead when necessary
· Comfortable speaking in front of all sized groups of people
· Ability to listen and communicate by phone, writing, and in-person in a professional and prompt manner
· Ability to successfully prioritize and conduct the various tasks on a daily basis
· Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace
· Desire to work in a positive, courteous, professional, and teamwork-oriented environment
Educational Experience
· High school diploma or GED required, additional certification or coursework from a college or technical school desirable
