HVAC Comfort Advisor/Consultant

We're in search of the ultimate HVAC Comfort Advisor. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who thrives on surpassing expectations to create exceptional customer experiences. They possess intermediate-level knowledge in residential Heating and Cooling systems, and are exceptional at in-home sales. On average, a National Air Comfort Advisor can expect to earn between $120,000 to $200,000 a year based on performance. If you are a hardworking, goal-oriented professional with a minimum of three years of in-home sales experience, we want to hear from YOU!

Home Comfort Advisors are responsible for generating new customer leads, create a positive relationship with each customer, and recommend and sell heating, air conditioning products to new leads and current customers. Your duties are also to assist HVAC specialists who install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment by contacting customers, providing quotes about the recommended service, writing proposals and contracts, and designing HVAC systems in customer homes and businesses.

Responsible for handling all sales leads (self-generated and furnished by the Company) in a timely and professional manner and communicating the disposition of each lead. 

• Accurately design and quote solutions for residential customers.
• Ensures that customer expectations are met and kept throughout the duration of the project to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain sales that meet or exceed the profit margin and closing ratio goals assigned.
• Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowners.
• Identify new business opportunities by performing direct sales activities and provide support to the administrative personnel as needed.
• Responsible for handling all sales leads (self-generated and furnished by the Company) in a timely and professional manner.
• Responsible for executing proper follow up procedures with every customer.
• Make recommendations to the customer regarding the different options they must resolve their wants and needs.
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
• Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and maintenance of the installed equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

             Qualifications*

• Knowledge of HVAC of Trane and Lennox products preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Ability to properly engineer a job, perform heat load calculations and determine proper equipment sizing.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
• Attention to detail.
• Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record.
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English.

             Physical Activities & Requirements*

• Physical Strength: Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs.
• Environment: Work in office setting and customers’ homes including tight areas such as crawl spaces and attics. Work in varying temperatures from climate-controlled buildings to non-climate-controlled areas occasionally with extreme temperatures.
