Embroidery Machine Operator/Lead

We are looking for Embroidery Machine Operator/Lead to join our growing production team in Vista, CA. Both day and night shift positions are available.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Independently operate embroidery machines to fulfill orders and meet deadlines quickly and efficiently
• Set up machine for each order
• Monitor and inspect each piece throughout production to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of each job
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and notify lead/management of any issues or repairs needed
• Follow all safety protocols
• Maintain and update production logs
• Clean equipment daily
• Train other team members as needed
• Other duties and tasks as needed, such as cleaning and organizing production areas
• Leads will have extended duties to include:
  • Managing production workflow
  • Additional employee training responsibilities
  • Organizing/managing thread, backing and other production material inventory
  • Troubleshooting machinery issues and coordinating repairs
  • Ensuring completion of required preventative maintenance duties and daily production logs

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Previous embroidery experience is strongly preferred; 2+ years embroidery machine operating experience required for Leads
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced production environment
• Available to work overtime as needed
• Basic to intermediate computer skills

• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb or balance
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and operating machinery
• Available to work (hours): Monday - Friday during regular operating hours. Occasional weekend and holiday hours may be necessary during peak seasons
