Groundskeeper

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Physically walking the property to remove litter, debris, cigarette butts, chewing gum, and any other items littering the grounds. Picking up, sweeping or blowing with gas-blower any clippings or debris. Using blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush. • Performs regular and directed grounds and landscape maintenance of and around trees, shrubs, ground cover, flowers, sidewalks and buildings; to include watering • Removes unsightly trash and debris from public areas by regularly inspecting grounds, drains, for debris; raking, sweeping and bagging leaves, debris, dirt and trash from sidewalks, parking lots, and transporting the trash to dumpster on a daily basis. • Assists in preventing accidents resulting from impediments on walkways by raking, sweeping, and shoveling on an as needed basis. • Reporting any dead plant material to management. • Transferring trash and debris left outside of dumpster into dumpster. Keeping dumpster doors closed. • Prepares outdoor locations for use by visitors and vendors, as needed. • Contributes to the overall success of the community by performing all other related duties as assigned. • Detailing property on a regular basis.

Outdoor Requirements: Landscaped areas; flower beds; dumpster areas; parking lots and drives; curbs of parking lots and drives and sidewalks / walk paths.
