Packers and Movers and Drivers - Multiple Moving Companies - Colorado Springs, CO
Job Summary: Goodwill Staffing is looking for movers and drivers for multiple moving company clients. Candidates will need to be able to perform duties listed below and meet the requirements. Pay is based on experience. Drivers will be expected to perform loading and unloading duties. Ability to gain access to military bases is essential. Must also have reliable transportation.
These positions can be full-time, and our clients are also looking to hire for permanent placement to strong performers. Great Summer Job as well and Great for College Students!
Job Duties:
Candidates are required to some of the following:
- Pack
- Inventory
- Wrap Furniture
- Load
- Deliver
- Drive Company Vehicles
- Wrap household goods for transit
- Perform packing jobs as necessary
- Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle
- Assist as needed in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce
- Pre-trip inspections alongside drivers of all aspects of equipment including truck interior, straps and tensioners, walk-boards,etc.
- Complete household goods inventory
- Perform work at warehouse as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 2 Years of Experience Preferred
- Previous experience in General Labor, Warehousing, Delivery Driving, Landscaping, and Construction are a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and Able to Provide a Proof of a Clean MVR
- Ability to Access All Military Bases
- Possess Excellent Customer Service
- Must be Reliable
- Must be Punctual
- Be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. Safely
- Follow Military Guidelines on D.O.D.(Military) Moves
- Properly Handle Customer's Belongings to Avoid Damage
