Electrical Apprentice- Commercial Construction Pre-Fab

We are growing and looking for a full-time Pre-Fab Commercial Construction Electrician Apprentice with integrity and professionalism to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama. Position is 40 hours per week Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:00pm and Friday 6:30am-10:30am with occasional overtime as needed on Friday afternoons.

What You will be responsible for:

• Construction of electrical assemblies
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Prepare and clean work areas
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• Carry and deliver materials
• Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
• Follow safety codes and building regulations
• Additional prefab tasks as job requires

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must purchase hand tools (list will be provided upon job offer)
• You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small spaces.
• Must be able to climb heights up to 20’
• Preferred knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, repair of electrical systems, and equipment.
• Preferred knowledge of basic hand tools
• Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
