Electro-Mechanical Service Tech - Up to $35/hr, Just Outside Philly!!

As an industry leader with over 75 years of experience in automation solutions, is seeking a skilled & motivated electro-mechanical automation technician in the greater Philadelphia area. This Service Technician opportunity will exhibit experience and technical expertise of labeling systems, print & apply, and various types of processing and packaging machinery. The ideal candidate should have application expertise, be able to work independently, and have schedule flexibility to travel when needed.

Responsibilities:

- Must be willing to execute nation-wide travel, as customer needs arise. Up to 10% travel
- Support labeling machinery throughout the field
- Provide install service, customer training, and maintenance 
- Support technical team with electro-mechanical field service work, in automation and packaging machinery

Experience:

-Experience as a maintance or field service Technician for electro-mechanical equipment, required (packaging, labeling, automation, or robotics equipment is preferred)
- Min. 3 years' experience in the build, repair & troubleshooting of labeling and/or packaging machinery, highly preferred.
- Min. 3 years' experience in wiring and troubleshooting of electrical devices is a must; experience with labeling and packaging machinery, including print & apply machines (highly preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics is a must.
- Automation/robotic field service experience is a plus
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: The candidate must possess a friendly and approachable demeanor, capable of building positive relationships with customers.
- Effective Communication: Clear and concise communication skills are essential for this role. The candidate must be able to convey technical information to customers in a comprehensible manner and communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination.
