Our company is seeking an experienced Industrial Paintingand Coating Supervisor to join our Paint Division. In this role theideal candidate will supervise all functions by planning, scheduling,assigning, and monitoring the work of assigned staff. Applicants must be ableto pass a pre-employment & random drug testing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign and supervise allactivities of Spectrum’s Paint Division.

• Business development and growth ofthe Paint Division.

• Review work requests, determine costand staffing requirements, set priorities, and assign work to beperformed.

• Prepare, direct, and inspect thework of crew, painters, and other workers employed in general painting andcoating of equipment.

• Requisition materials and supplies,see that work is carried out according to plans and specifications.

• Plans and develops work schedules,equipment usage schedule and estimates material and labor.

• Trains employees in work methods orprocedures, and work policies.

• Knowledge to troubleshoot paint andcoating non-conformance issues and provide corrective actions

• Must be capable of reading andunderstanding customer drawings and specifications and use that information topaint and coat high reliability components

• Group Leader or Supervisoryexperience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, andtechniques.

• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to thepainting trade

• Skill in estimating time and material requirements of workprojects assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate required

• Valid driver's license required

• Project management, communication and documentation skillsrequired
