Billing & Logistics Associate

The Billing and Logistics Associate helps maintain and reconcile accounts, process all billing requirements, manage month-end responsibilities with corporate staff, maintain collection activities and prepare reports. This position reports to the Billing and Logistics Manager and helps with effective and efficient receipt and shipment of recycling materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs billing and collections activities.
• Inputs customer account setups and changes.
• Interacts with customers to investigate and resolve billing or other account problems.
• Ensures email and phone responses to customer inquiries and requests.
• Works on bad debt collection by reaching out to customers.
• Covers the scale clerk position as needed.
• Assists in month end activities in close coordination with the corporate accounting department.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed and on time.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of experience in a billing, logistics, or similar position.
• Previous experience in logistics field required.
• Fluent or proficient in Spanish preferred by not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
