EMAG Technologies Inc. is looking for a dynamic RF Engineer. We are a high-tech company based in Ann Arbor, MI that develops and markets software and hardware solutions for analysis, characterization and diagnosis of RF and wireless systems and devices. The successful candidate will be a part of a high energy team of engineers working in the areas of RF and microwave circuits and antennas for communications and radar applications. This is a full-time salaried position with comprehensive health benefits and a 401K option.

Job Description:
This position involves design, fabrication, prototyping, test & evaluation of high frequency circuits and antennas. Specifically, it involves:
- Design and development of multilayer RF circuits, including schematic and layout
- Test and characterization of RF circuits in a laboratory environment
- Field testing of RF circuits as part of larger systems
Position Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on RF and microwave technologies or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 3+ years of experience in those fields
- Experience in microwave circuit design including low noise amplifiers, mixers, power amplifiers, phase locked loops, filters, etc.
- Experience in planar antenna and array design
- Experience with RF lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, etc.
- Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, KiCAD, etc.)
- Experience in analog and RF circuit simulation and design
- Familiarity with RF system calculations (OIP3, P1dB, NF, phase noise)
- Experience authoring RF system requirements and verification plans
- Experience testing and integrating complex RF Systems
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of radar, phased array, software defined radio, and communication systems
- Experience in circuit fabrication and creating prototypes
- Experience in designing linear and switching regulators
- Experience with A/D and D/A converters
- Basic knowledge of communication systems
- Some experience with microcontrollers and embedded C code
