The role requires an in-depth understanding of Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) networks and Passive Optical Networks (PON).Responsibilities:- Develop and architect network solutions, focusing on RF technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications.- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements for network advancements.- Conduct research and contribute to the future architecture of Charter's network capabilities.- Optimize and design DOCSIS-based network structures and RF transmission protocols.Key Skills & Experience:**- Extensive knowledge of DOCSIS standards and development processes.- Expertise in RF technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications.- Strong understanding of HFC and PON network architecture.- Experience with power level, frequency, modulation, coding, multiplexing, and contention control specifications.
