About the job

The Test Operator will perform electrical testing and tuning of RF technology products including

modules, bare die, packaged parts, and sub-assemblies. This role supports production and

engineering teams by calibrating test equipment, troubleshooting performance issues, and

maintaining quality and testing standards.


We're looking for someone who

● Has a high school diploma or GED (some college preferred)

● Has 5–7 years of RF technology testing and tuning experience

● Has hands-on experience with RF technology test equipment including Vector Network

Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Power Supplies, and

Power Meters

● Can read and interpret schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions

● Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

● Is detail-oriented with strong documentation and data analysis abilities

● Can organize, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment

● Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing

● Is proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

● Works well collaboratively and supports team training efforts

● Demonstrates integrity, accountability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic

● Is comfortable working under a microscope for tuning and inspection tasks

What you'll do

● Calibrate and set up RF technology test equipment

● Perform electrical testing on RF/technology products and sub-assemblies

● Tune electrical performance to meet product specifications

● Inspect products and verify documentation prior to testing

● Troubleshoot product failures, inconsistent performance, and testing issues

● Support product rework activities under supervisor guidance

● Interpret drawings and schematics related to assembly and troubleshooting

● Assist with training technicians and test operators as needed

● Maintain test equipment, accessories, tools, and test stations

● Participate in continuous product improvement initiatives

● Support engineering sample testing as needed

● Perform other duties assigned to support production and engineering goals
