Assistant Billing Manager

We have an exceptional, direct hire opportunity for an on-site role with a respected company in Greensboro. Qualified candidates must have experience with Billing and job cost duties. The Assistant Billing Manager will prepare and execute customer invoices and work directly for the Billing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Set up new customers and set up jobs
• Receive Purchase Orders, Add PO information to jobs/invoices
• Job Cost experience
• Run billing Reports
• Check accuracy of time, equipment and materials on those reports and correct any errors found
• Determine the type of job that you are working on (Contract or Time Material) and learn the billing guidelines to properly prep your billing for approvals.
• Communicate with Billing Manager, Project Mangers regarding contracts, change orders and any pertinent information regarding jobs.
• Process Invoice Approvals
• Prep Liens, AIA documents, Sales Tax Affidavit’s, etc. as needed. supporting documents required by customer via: mail, email, or customer portals
• Work with accounts receivable on invoices that have not been paid
• Strong Excel skills
• Complete/coordinate pre-qualification statements via vendor portals

Education:

Associate Degree (Preferred) or relevant work experience.
