ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client, a global leader in environmental technology, is currently seeking a Production Assistant to join their Manufacturing and Operations Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about achieving operational goals with a focus on safety, quality, and environmental impacts. The primary responsibilities include material assembly, equipment operation, and decision-making based on gathered information.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assemble material and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure, assemble materials, apply chemicals, and transport materials with precision.
• Verify solutions, materials, and finished product criteria.
• Maintain process specifications and inspect product for quality.
• Record process data accurately and make decisions based on gathered information.
• Communicate issues with product, processes, and data to supervisors.
• Additional duties may include mixing materials, operating machinery, and preparing catalysts.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing/Industrial or closely related experience.
• Knowledge of general plant safety.
• Good math and written communication skills.
• Forklift experience preferred - Operate forklift and overhead crane safely.
