Precast Drafter

R.W. Sidley of Thompson, OH is actively seeking a full-time Precast

Our Precast Drafter position starts at $18.00 to $22.00, depending on experience. We also

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRECAST DRAFTER

• Preferred that applicants have at least 2 years experience using AutoCAD
• Preferred that applicants have experience with BIM and 3D Modeling
• Additionally, successful candidates will possess the strong detail-oriented skills that are
  needed in the design and production of precast concrete.
• Ability to communicate in both written and verbal formats of English at a professional
  business level required.
• Candidates not already residing in Northeast, OH must be willing to relocate.

RESPONSIBLITIES, INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Convert client's Architectural and Structural drawing into shop drawing that align with
  Sidley Precast standards
• Study and comprehend engineer notes, charts and markups and correctly convey them in
  Sidley Precast shop drawings
• Coordinate with all members of drafting team to make sure schedules are met
• Develop and generate CAD drawings; verify all designs meet structural quality and
  design standards
• Work with Sales, Project Manager, Engineer, and Drafting Supervisor to develop
  complete elevation and shop drawings.
• Follow guidelines and standards as set by supervisor and Sidley Precast Division
  Manager
• Participate in project and design meetings and inform managers of project needs
• Maintain information/drawings via electronic file management
• Use problem solving skills to generate workable solutions and resolve complaints
• Use multi-tasking skills to prioritize multiple concurrent projects

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time regional driving position generally works Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to
5:00PM, with some flexibility, depending on projects.
