Architect drafting, also known as architectural drafting, is the process of creating detailed technical drawings and plans used in the construction and design of buildings. These drawings communicate the architect's design intentions and provide precise measurements, materials, and specifications for builders and contractors. Architectural drafters use computer-aided design (CAD) software or manual drawing techniques to produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and other construction documents.
