Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Condominium Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of our condominium facilities. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems, respond to maintenance requests, and contribute to the overall well-being of our condominium community.

Responsibilities:

1. Routine Maintenance:

   • Conduct regular inspections of condominium facilities to identify maintenance needs.
   • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and appliance repairs.

2. Repairs:

   • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
   • Diagnose and repair issues such as leaks, electrical problems, and appliance malfunctions.

3. Emergency Response:

   • Be available for on-call duties to address emergency maintenance situations outside regular working hours.
   • Respond quickly to urgent issues, such as power outages or plumbing emergencies.

4. Communication:

   • Communicate effectively with residents, property managers, and other team members.
   • Provide clear and concise information about maintenance issues and updates.

5. Preventative Maintenance:

   • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of equipment and systems.
   • Identify and address potential issues before they escalate.

6. Safety Compliance:

   • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
   • Use proper equipment and follow safety procedures at all times.

7. Record Keeping:

   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
   • Provide regular reports on the status of equipment and systems.

8. Customer Service:

   • Interact professionally with residents and address their concerns in a courteous manner.
   • Strive to provide a positive living environment for condominium residents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a condominium or similar residential setting.
• Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to handle on-call duties and respond to emergency situations.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor when necessary.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
• Valid Drivers License
