LeachGarner is looking for an experienced Tool Setter to join our precious metals manufacturing team in Attleboro. As a Tool Setter you will play a crucial role in ensuring machines function properly and produce consistent quality products.

4-10 hours shifts Monday – Thursday and Fridays off!

What you will do:

• Install and set up tooling systems, including pins, guides, and other components
• Fine-tune and adjust tooling settings to ensure precise operation and dimensional accuracy
• Perform calibration procedures using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks on tooling systems
• Replace worn or damaged components as needed
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with tooling systems during production and take prompt corrective actions
• Monitor production output and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Adjust tooling as necessary to achieve desired quality levels
• Maintain accurate records of tooling setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance on machinery
• Wear proper PPE at all times

What you need to bring:

• 2+ years experience as a tool setter in a manufacturing environment
• Good math skills
• Experience using micrometers, calipers and related hand tools
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance principles
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• Excellent attendance
• High School Diploma or GED

• Visual acuity
• Reaching, bending and stooping
• Standing and walking throughout 8-10-hour shift
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
• Ability to push and pull with force
