Measuring Associate - Cabinetry Division

Position Summary
The Measuring Associate within the Cabinetry Division is responsible for ensuring precise and accurate installation of cabinets within residential spaces.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Visit worksites to evaluate the layout and available space for cabinet installation.
Take accurate measurements of walls, floors, ceilings, and other relevant dimensions to ensure proper cabinet fitting.
Review design plans to understand cabinet placement requirements.
Collaborate with designers to clarify any discrepancies or issues related to measurements.
Record precise measurements and dimensions using advanced measurement tools.
Document measurements in a clear and organized manner for reference by installation teams.
Maintain effective communication with designers, and installation teams to ensure a shared understanding of installation requirements.
Provide accurate and timely measurements to facilitate the creation of custom cabinets that fit perfectly within the designated space.
Conduct thorough checks to ensure that measurements are error-free and comply with project specifications.
Identify potential challenges or discrepancies that could impact cabinet installation and communicate them to relevant parties.
Collaborate with installation teams to address unforeseen issues related to space constraints or measurement discrepancies.
Propose creative solutions to overcome installation challenges while adhering to design and functionality requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills.
High School diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in measurements and spatial assessment, preferably in the cabinetry or interior design field.
Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret design plans and drawings
Detail oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency using measuring tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements
Schedule: 8 hour days aligned with active projects schedules
Will experience prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting in a vehicle and working on a computer.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet MVR requirements
90% travel required
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Must be able to access and navigate residential job sites
Will be required to work in a variety of environmental conditions to include inside, outside, hot or cold temperatures.
