Sr. Regional Geoscientist (3975)

Our client, a stable and growing oil and gas operating company is seeking a 10+ year experienced deepwater Gulf of Mexico regional geoscientist.

This is a direct hire position with a very competitive base salary, bonus, LTI and full employee benefits. Company is an active player in the GoM deepwater space. Great opportunity to work in a focused, multi-disipline team to integrate various data into regional and play/prospect analyses to develop risked drillable prospects. Keys to success include:

• BS in Geology or Geophysics, MS preferred
• 10+ years in deepwater and or with additional international deepwater regional geology exp. with emphasis on having petroleum systems analysis experience
• Excellent seismic interpreter and lead/play generation mapper
• Strong regional Gulf of Mexico knowledge with exp. integrating various forms of data
• Deepwater appraisal and development project experience is preferred in addition to petroleum systems exploration prospect generation
• Experience in deepwater basins other than GoM is a plus
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status is required
• Houston base candidates are preferred, but company will consider relocation assistance for outstanding candidates
• Ability to comunicate respectfully and professionally within internal team and external partners is required
