Summer Swim Instructor at WEST Coast Aquatics

WEST Coast Aquatics is seeking to add a member to our aquatics team that will teach youth swim lessons. As a customer service position, this candidate must be friendly and polite while able to enforce program policies & practices.

Compensation

Base Pay: The starting pay rate for this position is $17 per hour and will reflect the experience and qualifications of the applicant.

End-Of-Year Bonus: during profitable years, the board will award a portion of profits to be split between employees based on individual performance, contribution and longevity.

Lessons Duties

• Teach in-water youth swimming lessons
• Adhere to WEST teaching curriculum
• Reinforce all WEST policies

Work Schedule

Instructors must be able to adhere to the set schedule to create consistency with classes. Sessions that instructors can choose to work are:

Monday-Friday

M/W/F

T/TH

Saturdays

Requirements

Strong Customer Service Skills: This role will interact with customers, parents, athletes and must be outgoing, friendly and personable, yet decisive and firm when necessary.

Organized & Detail Oriented: We work in a fast paced environment and safety is our top concern. Candidates must be maintaining swimmer safety at all times while also fulfilling other responsibilities.

• Swimming: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
