Job description

An Aquatic Director team member is responsible for the oversight of the pool and it's facilities. Aquatic Director oversees all pool and pool area related issues and ensures the pool is safe for members. Duties include speaking with clients and facility management as well as acting as the company representative onsite. Aquatic Directors must be able to maintain a clean and safe pool environment to issue the safety of all patrons.
Aquatic Director duties and responsibilities

Aquatic Directors are responsible for all of the operations of a typical shift. A job description for a management team member may contain the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours
  • Regular communication with client
  • Acting as the point of contact for the overall pool operation
  • Regularly treat the pool with the correct amount of chemicals
  • Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout facility
  • Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions
  • Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe
