Job description

Position Summary: Kerner Environmental is seeking an Aquatic Applicator Technician to perform herbicide maintenance in Wellington, and Jensen Beach Florida. This position requires a clean DL. Responsible for assisting in scheduling and daily service report writing of all maintenance activities and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kerner Environmental policies and procedures. Boating experience is a plus.

  • Aquatics, Preserve/natural area, ditch and stormwater treatment area maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, maintain maintenance schedules and equipment.

Preferred License:

Restricted Use Pesticide License Aquatics, Natural Area & Right-of-Way

Right-of-Way, Preserve/Natural Area, and Aquatics maintenance experience.

Clean driver's license history

Qualifications:

Ability to properly maintain maintenance schedules.

Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work in adverse working conditions, including strenuous manual labor, may be required.

Ability to properly maintain all equipment.

Ability to operate hand/power tools.

Valid Driver's License

Schedule:

Full Time

Must be available to travel and work out of town on a limited-time basis.
