The Full Charge Bookkeeper has a keen eye for detail and is responsible for managing the financial documents for a variety of clients. This position handles multiple clients with complex bookkeeping needs and structures, including (but is not limited to) data entry, reconciliations, general ledger entries, financial statement preparation, accounts receivable and accounts payable management. They possess the ability to retain details about individual clients and present accurate information quickly and with ease. In short, this position is responsible for the maintenance and health of our client’s books and reports to the Lead Accounting Consultant.

Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks and other accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Advanced understanding and use of Excel
- Proven work experience in a bookkeeping related role
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Must demonstrate ability to set and meet deadlines and achieve goals
- Must have a high capacity for attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
- Must be able to work independently with confidence
- Must be able to handle full cycle A/P and A/R for multiple companies in various industries
- Proficiency in accrual and cash basis accounting
- Prior experience in a CPA firm is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.
- Update and maintain all accounting records
- Reconcile accounts
- Update payroll information
- Process and record accounts payable, accounts receivable, & payroll
- Preparation of financial statements as needed
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- General ledger posting and review
- Ensure correct and punctual monthly, quarterly and year-end taxes and reporting
