About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions, replacing worn and defective parts, and ensuring the proper functioning of the heavy construction machinery. You will also have the opportunity to work on welding, hydraulics, and diesel engine repairs. Additionally, you will contribute to our company's image by maintaining a neat and clean appearance and a well-organized service truck.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Vocational training or formal schooling in hydraulics and diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring and hydraulic diagrams, parts catalogs, and repair manuals.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
- DOT certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under time constraints.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Must be able to pass a background, drug screen, physical and MVR (Driving Record)
$30.00-$35.00 HR DOE
