Daily Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician (call center):

Working in the Pharmacy Service Center – a call center that handles calls regarding prior authorizations
There are about 50 people in this call center, will be taking calls to check on prior authorization status and answer any questions regarding prior authorization
Handling 50+ calls each day.

Requirements of a Pharmacy Technician (call center):

Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of CA
1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Experience working with Prior Authorizations
Complete assessment tests: Typing (3-minute – scoring 35+ WPM), Customer Service Skills, and Computer Skills

Hours for this Position of a Pharmacy Technician (call center):

M-F, will most likely be on the 9:30-6:00 shift - (call center is open 5:00am-6:00pm, have to be available to work the earlier shifts if needed)
