Medical Lab Technician MUST be licensed in FL

Summary/Objective
The Medical Lab Technician/Medical Technologist is responsible for performing and analyzing the results of the complex scientific tests.
Essential Functions

- Prepping urine and small volume blood specimens
- Aliquoting patient samples for various procedures to test for the presence or quantity of therapeutic drugs and drugs of abuse
- Screening patient samples on the Olympus analyzer
- Monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
- If licensed as an MT, reviewing LCMS Data and experience with LCMS

Qualifications, Knowledge and Competencies
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Certification by ASCP, AMT, or AAB, Medical Technologist License (or Medical Laboratory Technician) in State of Florida and laboratory experience.
Knowledge: Apollo LIMS, Olympus
Competencies: Technical Capacity, Decision Making, Problem Solving/Analysis, Results Driven
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, and hours specified by the manager.
