POSITION:
ZRG is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic company. They will be responsible for processing the company’s accounts receivable and payables, reconcile accounts, update customer/vendor records in a timely and accurate manner, monitor bank balances and facilitate payments in accordance with company policies and procedures, and assisting with the revenue recognition process and forecast. Some duties may include Treasury Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate invoices and other accounting related AR documents.
• Reconcile customer payments applying incoming payments to outstanding account balance.
• Research and reconcile discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts to assist with month end close process.
• Maintaining accounts payable and making vendor payments.
• Post transactions to accounting journal.
• Assist with the monthly revenue forecast.
• Set up new accounts in the system, ensuring accurate and compliant information.
• Manage Finance inbox.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Monitor bank balances/download bank statements.
• Prepare payment orders.
• Work with controller to ensure proper revenue recognition on the project.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Other accounting projects ad hoc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within accounts receivable/accounts payable accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proficiency with NetSuite and/or Quickbooks
