Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Operations Analyst to support tax-related processes within a banking environment. This role involves managing U.S. tax withholding and reporting, resolving client inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services operations and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across global teams.

Responsibilities

Perform U.S. IRW (Income Reporting & Withholding) tax processing and reporting

Handle and resolve tax-related client inquiries and escalations, particularly for Prime Brokerage clients

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders

Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls

Participate in process improvement initiatives, regulatory updates, and industry projects

Track and report metrics, quality checks, and performance results

Maintain high standards of accuracy, data integrity, and compliance.

Required skills

Experience in tax operations / financial operations / banking operations.

Strong understanding of tax reporting and withholding processes

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment..

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Prime Brokerage or investment banking clients

Knowledge of IRS reporting (e.g., 1099, 1042)
