Fund Accountant
A trusted client is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team. Employees are eligible for a hybrid schedule and may sit in Annapolis or DC.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly close
- Review bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with capital calls and distributions
- Interfund and external cash movement
- Coding and processing of payables
- Assist with preparing fund financial statements, prep of fund investor reports, fund level debt compliance, recurring fund reporting requirements
- Audit support, workpaper prep, annual budgets and reforecasts
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related; Master’s is a plus
- CPA/CPA eligible is a plus
- Real estate/private equity experience preferred
- Must have experience with Fund Administration
- Foundational GAAP experiences and knowledge
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Exposure to investment accounting/private equity is a plus
