Job Description

The Senior Strategy Director joins a team of talented marketers focused on helping Merkle clients accelerate their level of marketing maturity through data-driven, customer-centric programs, people/processes and technology platforms.

The Senior Director operates as an important member of our Transformation & Consulting team ensuring that the recommendations we deliver are based on our understanding of our client's strategic objectives. You will build relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients and Merkle team.

As a Senior Director you have demonstrated experience planning across media and channels, development and management of campaigns that generate measurable return and can work across multiple of our core vertical markets (Financial Services & Wealth Management, Healthcare, Retail, Travel, Media and Entertainment, B2B, High Tech).

You understand how businesses, brands and customers interact, with an awareness of the evolving role that data and technology play in this relationship. You will report to the SVP of Client Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting projects related to organizational strategy and operating model design
  • Oversee ideation, planning, and delivery of change management consulting engagements with our clients, including design of program communication strategies, training plans, and measurement reporting
  • Improve client's ability to manage CX transformation through customer journey mapping, customer insight development, customer-centric capability assessments and blueprints, development of transformational roadmaps, and value quantification.
  • Lead client meetings and discussions, defining project objectives and engagement approach, leading discovery sessions, workshops, deliverable reviews, and managing overall daily delivery efforts.
  • Lead business development activities including identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities.
  • Mentor junior team members to deliver strategy projects.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 15+ years of cross industry consulting experience in digital transformation roles and process optimization, roles and responsibilities definition, change management, and integrated marketing strategy.
  • 10+ years working in a consulting firm or CRM agency.
  • Knowledge of end to end consulting approach - from design to execution of strategy.
  • Experience in organizational design, change management, or communication strategy roles.
  • Hands-on skills using data and research to guide decisions
  • Average 20%-30% travel (contingent on comfort level of client)


Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $136,000-$191,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other

factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary

incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to

change. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other
