General Manager

This position is responsible for the operations of the amusement park, water park, accommodations and campgrounds consistent with company standards for safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall management, direction, achievement, and execution of strategic imperatives around park operations
• Develops and holds accountable the park's management team
• Establishes operating practices and procedures and ensures compliance to facilitate the team's achievement of established financial, operational and safety goals
• Develops, recommends and ensures successful implementation of short-term and long-term strategic plans, budgets, projections, capital improvements, and annual operating schedules
• Recommends, implements and monitors business model changes to factor in challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing environment
• Ensures company policies are properly and consistently administered and enforced
• Ensure parks operate within all federal and local guidelines
• Develops and fosters strong community relationships and represents and promotes park's interests through involvement in various community and business-related arenas.

• Five or more years of proven senior executive leadership experience. Theme park, hospitality or equivalent industries preferred
• Strong leadership, communication and financial acumen required
• Professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills required
