Job Description

Tired of flagging hours? We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment.

Responsibilities:

Make mechanical and hydraulic repairs on fleet equipment.
- Equipment to include: Underground Directional Drills, 4 ton to Class 8 Trucks and Trailers, Vac Trucks and miscellaneous equipment.
Run diagnostic tests and enter job information
Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot issues with gas and diesel engines
Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
Complete shop paperwork
Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED certificate
4+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic (a plus)
Welding experience (a plus)
Manual dexterity
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Must be able to lift or move 50+ pounds

Additional Information:

Hours 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday
Benefits: Health Insurance & Paid Time Off
Pay Based On Experience - $23.00 - $28.50 per hr
