Responsibilities

 

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and supervise all activities regarding design contracts, in compliance with the approved schedule, cost, quality, and federal regulations. 
  • Assure all project milestones are meet within time and contract documents.  
  • Evaluate and approve design fees for design contracts and studies. 
  • Review and provide recommendations for plan drawings, specifications, estimates and all other contract documents required for the construction procurement process. 
  • Guarantee that all projects comply with codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with client, state and federal agencies the development of the project, as needed.  
  • Perform QA/QC reviews and comments to make sure that each comment is addressed to the satisfaction of the reviewer and Client.
  • Coordinate the permitting preparation and filing on schedule.
  • Review and follow up to the preconstruction schedule.

 

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years of Experience
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) License or Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred
  • Able to manage resources, budgets, work plans, priorities, and project management tools to successfully lead employees from the beginning of the project to the end of the project.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills/strong leadership and time management skills.
