Purpose: Responsible for baking different products throughout the day, moving multiple racks in and out of the oven and place them in the blast cooler. Ensure to track times on HACCP paperwork.
Essential functions and responsibilities
- Read Temperatures and use a thermometer
- Move racks of food in and out of the oven.
- Able to move racks of food to the blast cooler.
- Able to keep track of multiple ovens at a time.
- Able to read and write English
- Able to follow a recipe and fill out HACCP paper work
- Basic mathematic skills
- Basic written and communication skills
- Follow GMP’s, employee safety and food safety rules and regulations
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends
- Able to perform other tasks as assigned
- Basic Computer skills (Measure)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year food manufacturing.
- Bilingual a plus.
Work environment
- Refrigerated (40F) and wet environment
- Some lifting/bending. Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Fast paced
Preferred Skills
- Able to read and write English
- Basic Computer skills
