Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + Uncapped Commission (1st year OTE $95,000 - $105,000) + Benefits

[Remote] Area Sales Manager (Building Products or Flooring Sales) Description
Our client, an innovative leader in the heating cables industry, is looking for a Remote Area Sales Manager to add to their team in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will take over a successful territory and will be challenged to develop it to a new level. The territory includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. 30% of your time will go towards managing the existing business in the territory, while 70% of your time will be spent on new business development.
In this role, you will build on your sales experience and benefit from peer-to-peer learning with the rest of the sales team. If you are a humble, positive, energetic, and natural “people person”, you’ll do well in this role. This is an amazing opportunity to join a company that has a “small company feel” with the backing of a big company. [Remote] Area Sales Manager (Building Products or Flooring Sales) Responsibilities
• Develop business strategies
• Implement plans to grow overall sales revenue, gross profit, and market share
• Promote the client’s floor heating product line
• Identify new opportunities
• Provide product demonstrations
• Maintain and develop accounts by phone and field support
• Technical product knowledge, quoting, and sales support
• Manage the relationship with Independent Sales Partners; assist with their sales development
• Develop new business in collaboration with a dedicated Inside Sales Team
• 80% local car-based and monthly air travel in the territory
• Trade show attendance
[Remote] Area Sales Manager (Building Products or Flooring Sales) Qualifications
• 2+ years of Outside Sales experience required
• Flooring, electrical, or building products industry experience required
• Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required
