Position Overview

MassCEC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Residential Electrification Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will support the Marketing Team and the High Performance Buildings Team on the “Clean Energy Lives Here” campaign, Home Modernization Navigator Pilot Program, and the Building Decarbonization Clearinghouse initiative. You will work closely with the Marketing team and other MassCEC Program Managers, stakeholders at other agencies, and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns and programs that contribute to the advancement of clean energy in Massachusetts.


Core Responsibilities:

Serve as administrator for the “Clean Energy Lives Here” campaign, which is the platform that enables the Home Modernization Navigator Pilot Program and the Building Decarbonization Clearinghouse initiative. These two new programs are an exciting collaboration between us, the Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Mass Housing/the Massachusetts Community Climate Bank, and Home Modernization Navigator Pilot Program, and the Building Decarbonization Clearinghouse initiative. Regular responsibilities related to “Clean Energy Lives Here” include but are not limited to:

Administrative Support:

Provide administrative assistance to the Marketing and High Performance Buildings Team by:

  • Scheduling meetings
  • Handling correspondence
  • Maintaining organized documentation in a folder structure
  • Tracking documents in our grant management platform
  • Help write and proofread draft RFP(s) for vendors who’ll be hired to support the campaign.
  • Responding to emails in the campaign inbox.

Data Management:

  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing key performance indicators for the “Clean Energy Lives Here” campaign, Home Modernization Navigator Pilot Program, and the Building Decarbonization Clearinghouse initiative.

Campaign Support and Program Implementation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional, cross-agency teams to support the effective launch and management of the Home Modernization Navigator Pilot Program and the Building Decarbonization Clearinghouse initiative;
  • Support the evolution of the Clean Energy Lives Here campaign as needed by writing and proofreading website content, testing navigation of the campaign website, and editing proposed social media ads, posts and newsletters;
  • Notifying our marketing vendor of bugs;
  • Managing the Installer directory on the campaign website;
  • Assist in the coordination of events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote the objectives of all three initiatives; and
  • Communicate with external stakeholders, including clean energy industry professionals, other government agencies, community partners and residents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications, environmental studies, business, public administration) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools.
  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability.
