NON-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver - INDIO CA 92201

SUMMARY: Seeking dependable non-emergency transportation drivers to join our fast-growing team! Our goal is to help patients and individuals attend their healthcare appointments on time. We work to provide reliable, fast and safe services to our clients. Ideal drivers must be positive, outgoing and self-motivated.

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Safely transport patients to medical facilities in a timely manner.
• Able to receive dispatch communication via smart phone. Regularly check for route changes or updates.
• Communicate with dispatch to obtain trip clarification and/or trip concerns.
• Respectfully communicate with patients.
• Secure passenger, wheelchairs and/or gurneys inside vehicles and always consider passengers comfortably.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned and disinfected.
• Completes a thorough DAILY vehicle inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Have a valid driver license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a mandatory criminal background and pre-employment drug test.
• Must be reliable, courteous, and dependable.
• Familiarity with local California roads, freeways and GPS systems.
• Be able to lift minimum but not limited to 50 lbs.
• Must live in the Low desert area.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
